Information Week reports today that Google has launched a chinese language version of its Ad Words service, meaning that advertisers can now potentially reach 280 million or so Chinese internet users. Yet another reason I need to start pawning shit in anticipation of Google’s IPO.

The internet has been helping folks find commonground for years. Tonight, another heart-warming example came to be as Janet Jackson’s boob was bared during the Super Bowl halftime show. Within seconds, channels like #janetsnipple, #janetsboob, and #janetspastie were formed, filling with literally hundreds of high-spirited boob-lookers. This, folks, is why I sit in front of this monitor for 18 hours a day. It’s for the cameraderie.
