a woeful tale of failure

Spammers. We all know them and universally revile them. As a result, some of them develop anger problems, inferiority complexes, and all manner of issues. Lately my site and presumably many others have been seeing a massive surge in what’s called “nuisance spamming”, which is the act of spamming things like links to other, uninvolved people’s blogs for no reason other than to annoy the site owner.

As I’ve said before, and i’m sure i’ll say again before it’s all said and done, MT-Blacklist is just the greatest thing ever. As anyone who looks at the dates around here knows, I don’t pay much attention to this site currently. I haven’t posted in months, and rarely do I ever even check to see if there’s been new comments posted. A quick look around will demonstrate that even though more than 500 spam comments have been sent my way in the last couple of days, not so much as ONE has made it through my filters. They get zapped before they ever even see the light of day.

The moral of this story is that evil never triumphs. Keep trying guys, you obviously have a lot of free time on your hands.

sometimes politics has to take a backseat to reality. in reality, my politics aren’t very popular.
